Our Story

Built From Scratch

We are a family of four building something that didn’t exist before us.

No generational land.
No family ranch to inherit.
No blueprint to follow.

Just a dream, a whole lot of grit, and the willingness to start small.

What began as a desire to live slower and more intentionally has turned into the early stages of building a first-generation cattle farm — one fence post, one garden bed, and one animal at a time.

We are proof that you don’t have to be born into it to build it.

Who We Are

I’m a stay-at-home mom learning as I go.
My husband works full-time off the farm to support the dream.

Together, we’re raising two kids while raising food, animals, and a vision for something bigger than ourselves.

We don’t work the land perfectly.
We don’t have it all figured out.
But we show up every day and build anyway.

This life isn’t aesthetic 24/7 — it’s muddy boots, early mornings, late nights, and constant learning.

And we love it.

What We're Building

Right now, our homestead includes:

• A growing garden
• An orchard with plum trees and blueberries
• Strawberries and seasonal harvests
• Meat rabbits
• Cattle — the beginning of our long-term ranch vision

Our goal is to establish a thriving, first-generation cattle operation that our children can either continue… or simply be proud of.

We believe in learning skills that matter.
Growing what we can.
Raising what we’re able.
And slowly becoming less dependent on systems that don’t align with our values.

This isn’t about going backward.

It’s about building forward — intentionally.

Why This Store Exists

This shop isn’t just merchandise.

It’s part of the build.

Every purchase helps fund fencing, livestock, infrastructure, equipment, seeds, and all the small (and big) pieces that go into building a farm from nothing.

It also supports the content we create — the education, encouragement, and transparency we share with thousands of other families who want to live differently.

When you purchase from us, you’re not just buying something.

You’re helping build a first-generation farm.

And that means more than you know.

What We Believe

We believe:

• Ordinary families can build extraordinary things
• Hard work still matters
• Stewardship is a responsibility
• Freedom requires effort
• Children should see things being built — not just bought

We’re not experts.
We’re not perfect.
We’re just willing.

And we invite you to build alongside us.

Welcome To The Journey

Whether you’re here because you homestead too…
Because you dream of it…
Or because you just love supporting small family businesses…

We’re grateful you’re here.

You’re not just a customer.

You’re part of the story.

Welcome to the build.
